How to tame a hamster

Bunny (in front) & Oreo (behind)
As cute and tiny hamsters may be, never be fooled by their cuteness. They will turn spoiled and take advantage of you whenever they get a chance. Firstly, around a month or two ago, when bunny entered the lives of my classmates, was a terrified poor soul. She was afraid of humans and jumps whenever a hand is reached out to her. Gradually, she became used to us, and knew her surroundings much better.
My desk: the hamster playground. They run towards it like children running towards an amusement park or candy shop. She bit my books, my papers, my tissue, my scarf, leather, anything in front of her in matter of fact! Oh how fat she became so quickly and how naughty too! But she was loved by everyone. She never bites and she likes being held. Bunny, when cleaning and scratching herself, is the most cutest thing i've ever seen an animal do. She becomes into this round tennis ball shape using her two hands to wipe her face with them.....bunny hated this other hamster though. Ah-hui, a grey obese hamster who sleeps all day, was afraid of her. Bunny is a ferocious little thing! She hates him so much! Bunny was getting lonely, so the owner bought a male hamster, Oreo. Oreo was just like bunny, but he bites and he still doesn't like humans too much. Oreo soon after became spoiled just like bunny and even naughtier! He made a small hole out of his small home to escape! He bit through hard plastic! Oreo, still smaller than bunny, likes to chase around Bunny and play with her. Them playing is very fun to watch and at rare times i catch them sleeping on top of each other under my desk. At first I thought they were mating but it was Bunny on top of Oreo, not vice versa... haha. To me, hamsters are more like children rather than small rodents. You have to keep an eye on them 24/7. It's tiring but its worth it. They're so adorable and loving<3

They sleep in school most of the time, but i let them play for an hour or two in my desk. It's like play time for them. They sleep, they eat(it's so adorable when they eat...), they fight, they squeak, they run around... they sleep on my neck.. they pee on me, poop on me etc. God they pooped on me so many times! And naughty Oreo peed on my fingers once when I was using the laptop! It was icky and warm.. lol

Tips on what to do and not to do to your hamsters(based on experience):
*Make sure your hamster gets enough exercise.
*Do not give your hamster more than half of a small raisin, otherwise your hamster will be too hyper for the next few hours, running like a maniac. They won't be able to control themselves.
*Do not put lotion on your hands when holding your hamster. They will want to bite and lick it assuming it's food.
*Hamsters like all sorts of nuts, seeds, biscuits, and fruits. Ex: fruit seeds, walnuts, oats, avocado, oranges..etc
*Try not to let your hamsters eat papers and tissue.
*Whenever your hamster wakes up, it is hungry.
*Whenever you want your hamster to calm down, lock it up until it calms down or if it keeps on scratching and biting the cage to set free, then good luck. I usually just get them out and let them play until they get tired.
